The goal of this project was not to build up the most outrageous machine on the road, to outdo our last creation but to simply bring together a list of options wrapped up into a clean looking package. Conservative, if you will but how do you call a GMC with everything in this baby "conservative. Thats why I feel the name fits.
This coach came to us from Virginia dropped
from a flat bed, in well rough shape. What can you say, years of waiting
for the day to make it into something had taken it's toll.
But hey, thats why they bring them to us. I mean if this were easy, they
would do it at Jiffy Lube!
As we dug into the coach we found more pearls
of joy, rotted floors and all
Mechanically, it was a mess but again it's what we do best. The dash fell
away in our hands
but again thats our challenge
The exterior was no less a challenge-- from
this
sort of damage repair to this
before a block sand, colors picked
and then applied
and cleared
From there it went into trim where the interior was stripped
before the rebuild began
and kept on
and on
.
Alls well that ends well and the interior came out nice.
