Been at the shop most of the day moving coaches arond in the lot. Youve got to do this every couple of weeks… sort of a musical chairs getting them near the tools for next weeks smackdown.
Through the marvels of moden science,I’m doing this post from my smart phone. Wow, how neat is that! James is telling me we can stream live pretty soon.. yep… pretty neat.
Had to take some time today to give one of my coaches “Larry” a bath. The Floida wet summer fungus took it over. When it looks like its burrowing into the finish you need to do something. And like clockwork, the 2pm rain blew in which gave me another rinse off, the humidity took over trumping the heat so now the afternoon can happen. Its this way bout every day this time of year. During the work week you break a sweat at dawn til the rains come to cool you off…. that’s about it, the grass is so hi at the house, maybe my Honda mower can fet a wack at the weeds tomorrow.. if the rains don’t come.
You guys dealing with those fire I know wish they had this weather soI’m not complaining. look at it this way, you have a great way to check for water leaks rihht now…. find something positive in everything.
Dangit, I’ve pushed the wrong buttons on this little screen twice… blew this next part out! Progress can be very frustrating. One more time…..While waiting for Manny and the 2 turbo diesel crate motors to arrive, Hank is starting on the front clip buildup. After what 40 years of rigs, patches, bailing wire and duct tape, we feel renewing the entire drive train into a complete front clip hust as the chassis was manufactured then served up to the coach… that’s exactly what a oroject like this needs and exactly what we will do. Stay tuned as these 2 turbodiesel installs go …
In the meantine the guys at the trim shop are replacing the floor panels in the patient coach. In going to try and post a pic from my phone on Cedrics floor. If it goes great, if not I’ll pist it tomorrow and pick up mire on that project. See ya tomorrow… Iips, need James to clue me in why I’m upside down, ill try and fix it tomorrow, see ya then…
Oh, one other thing, I did the entie post here from my phobes, man that’s amazing and other than the flipped pic I think it went pretty well. James says soon we will be able to stream, I think I know what he’s talking about… I tell ya…. this new stuff.. us old dogs had better start learning these new tricks, I hear the glue factory is taking old dogs ni w!!!! Bark.. bark
I own two 26′ coaches one for 29 years in storage and another just for parts for 10 yrs hoping and searching for a drive train that would work well and was affordable and easily available.I can not tell you how excited I am and how eager I am for more details.Keep them coming. Thanks for what you guys do.
