Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

And as the world turns…… We’re out there turning with everybody……….

……….. Yesterday I was very proud of the way all the guys pitched in together trying to move this rock.

The fuel tank is in on the lift ……..You can see the 1 1/2″ L channel under the new tank that replaces the frame strength cut out to make way for the 50+ gallon tank which also protects the sump pickup.

While inside, the motor is opened up taking the intake off the motor.…….. As you can see, this motor was fitted with the GM 2 bbl. older fuel injection system.  It was installed on that aluminum plate…..the new FiTech system is a continuous 4 bbl. throttle body.

Wow, no Keebler carbon cookies, this is a clean motor

The box behind the intake 2 pics ago is the CVF Serpantine belt system that will make the throwing of belts a thing of the past and of course we will be retiring the radiator in favor of our aluminum side can radiator and 2 motor fan box…….stay tuned.………

Now, JD already has all of that and will soon be unleashed on the streets.

Check out the new wiring Robert is putting into this coach.  We’ve found a new circuit which eliminates the boost solenoid telling the new solid state 160amp combiner that comes with the new 1 wire 130 amp alternator…..the guys were pretty slick on that one and I love the new clean look.   Really, the guys are taking all this to a new level…….thanks guys!

Here’s a shipment going out with one of the new aluminum tanks.  The wood box on the flat contains a complete, tuned FiTech system and the Forced Fuel delivery system and all the bits we use to install it all.  Somebody is going to have some fun!  Good thing is in that we sold the system……yes, we are FiTech dealers now……..we will be available with help on the DIY install.  Same price as everyone else sells the hardware plus specific tech support, I’d call that a deal!

Ok, too much but I was just inspired by the support these gays are giving eachother, brings a tear to my eye……….got an early start this morning…..its my way of stepping it up too…….thanks for coming by and we’ll see you tomorrow……….
