An new video is posted, it’s introducing Abbey Normal…….

……… Go take a look at our madness over on “Motorhome Rehab Ranch”…………what does Abbey have to do with vintage Rv’s?hey and check out our new “Mexican Radio”🎵 microphone……..always wanted one of those…….

But what I know Greg is waiting to see is thisgoin all the way this is how much is taken off an original dash for Mac’s “MacDaddy”was too bad but his original plastic pieces of the dash were not in bad shapethese plastic uprights just bake with most being cracked badlythe problem with our original dash design is those flemsey plastic parts have the pad and this heavy steel plate WITH all the switches and gauges hanging off it……for 45 years!…….. Oh and Greg….it was amazing if your horn worked.  Your windshield gasket has the usual water drip going right into the horn button….. Don’t feel bad, most folks who have that early solid plastic steering wheel had this problem.  The rusted up steering wheel is outa here in favor of our lower 45 2 spoke leather wheel.  Take a look at it on our “parts” page.

side panels and the front headliner cap will be removed for our Epoxy texture process, the passenger dash pad will be repaired in place and new vinyl will be stretched on it and the new MacDaddy dash shell.  Next I will prewired all the new dash clusters…….stay tuned for that……There’s David getting ready to go “diver down” putting in the new double roller timing chain and gears, the Serpantine belt system and the recorded radiator and new AC condenser.  Robert is there to hang on to the rope to keep David from falling in!  Man why did Airstream make it Sooooo hard to work on!Another soldier comes in on a flat bed but this one didn’t break down…….why was it trailers in?  I’m looking into this further but look at this and how “unused” the original paint on the motorbecause there is this on the dashthat motor does NOT look like it’s been driven over 100,000 mules!  …..The plot thickens…….

Hope this was enough fix, sorry for the time getting stuff up.  Even more is happening as you see…… This 3 days off will be needed…..oh yeah, we’ve gotten another windshield tinted, I’ll talk about that next.

See ya later and thanks for dropping by…………..
