You are here: Home / The Daily Pose / >> An AC frig.? ……..3.2cf, 2 door, pulls 80watts and has a brand name…….

November 27, 2020

<<<<< Updated twice >>>>>> An AC frig.? ……..3.2cf, 2 door, pulls 80watts and has a brand name…….

……….…… And it has a chrome bottle opener on the side!  You see stuff all the time on the internet that looks too good to be real…….most are and sometimes there maybe a few jewels in all that hot mess…… A good example of this are generators!  3000watts, electric remote start, bla, bla, bla for less than $1000 shipped! ??? Oh lets try it……. I’m one of those that always wants to believe….my savior is the internet for discovery!

So here’s a new one I’ve said ,”Lets try it”In the description it listed “it’s one ice cube tray”.  Ok, good to know and it did! Makes 1/2″ cubes!  It’s like it’s made for a Lepricon!  Hey, the GMC bottle opener that was recently offered will fit perfect!

What’s the logic in this madness?  There’s always SOME sort of idea that brings you to a purchase.  I’d love to say it’s totally based on the fact that it’s super efficient…..no, I have to be honest….cost DELIVERED was less than $250!  Yes I’m a cheapskate too…..a standard 6.6cf propane fridge that I haves been proud to have for decades today costs somewhere around $1200 which I feel is a great thing to have…even at that price……this red “Frigidaire” is less than 1/4 in cost!  It’s one of those “I just couldn’t resist things……

Today, advancements in solar, batteries, inverters etc. might make this little puppy viable!and makes a descent corner mount in the original frig compartment!.…….So yeah, it his is not quite as crazy..?….if it works.  Along with low current induction cooktops, efficient convection/microwave/toaster oven, I’ve even found a DC powered water heater!  Solar charging, inverter Technology on and on  Technology is making new things possible……..and there are plenty of companies trying to convince us the technology is here now!  Is it?  I want to believe….i mean little red here runs on less than a 100watt light bulb!….. but once again……..if it’s too good to be true it probably is”lets see………… And as it usually goes, JayGee will be the lab rat on this one.

<Update >>>>>>>>>>>

His trusty Norcold stopped not norcolding……..so that got me thinking all electric cooking………..Well the luxury thing in camping in Scouts was ice, keeping descent food possible on the trail.  Basically unless you wanna use enough dry ice to keep raw bacon good…..you’re hooped……..so my logic is starting there, I need a frig. WITH a freezer.  See the freezer is the hard part, there are many chest type frig units….some with freezers but the price was in the $750 range.  And then this cute little thing popped up…….so I’m a fish…….here we go…… Stay tuned…….. Heck, I’d fill up that Norcold frig and half of it would go bad!  Why keep all that food around….looks like a couple of day….maybe more if you do it right……Yeah I know…….i was thinking it will swell up when I plug it in…..no luck, the Frigidaire logo, the bottle opener and the 2 handles are the only normal sized things! Crazy!!!! I’ll let ya know……..i’ll see ya later …..It’s just so cute!
