Vintage RV & Motorhome restorations - "The GMC Coop"

A little late but we’re here……….

………. The weekend went and another week here has begun.

Quad bag installed, bearings and brakes attended to…..this side is done, now we’re on the motor and it’s new FiTech fuel injection and Serpantine belt systems.  Stay tuned.

Sunday was Eleganza’a day for her outingthis is her lizard hunting ground…..i guess like fishing it has to do with patienceshe will stand motionless just begging something to move!  Maybe THAT’s why I’m not into fishing!  There’s so much more for me to do than just sit there……

Hey, why didn’t someone TELL me my hair was looking like a girlsmy first haircut since this Covid thing…..could be a while before I can get another…..burr it back real good!THAT feels better……no mistakes now……..JayGee’s Norcold frig finally went away……..i really like those units and it’s been a loyal appliance for many years but it lost its coolant…….i COULD try to replace the cooling unit of the frig but no…..its not worth taking the chance something else will go next.  Best thing is to simply replace it if it’s been a good friend……  I’m going to remove the frig enclosure completely and try something different……why not!Stay tuned……..

So let me get things happening.

Capt. Pete is lumbering in today for something……i don’t know what…. We’ll see

Ok, enough….tough day cranking up, see you tomorrow…..

    Hi, Jim.

Look into a Vitrifrigo fridge. Works on 12 or 24 VDC and 120 VAC. Automatic change-over from AC to DC and vice-versa. On 120 VAC it goes to a 24 VDC output power supply (converter?) which runs the fridge more efficiently. Danfoss compressor that takes about 4 Amps on 12-13 VDC but only when running. Separate freezer and fridge compartments (2-door) appliance. Will fit nicely in the existing cabinet, I believe.
