Got the prototype frame in yesterday 
Yeah man, you can write this one in the back cover of your parts manual! If you have driven a GMC more than one trip on a toll road you know what I mean! As we all know, crunching in to hand the gal your money and THEN trying to figure out how to cup your hand for the change well….. 
You don’t remember but a couple of years ago I strayed and became enamoured with a little 20′ Argosy motorhome and the first time when recovering this coach from the NC mountains where the owner had passed away at a national park just him, his blue tic hound and this motorhome I discovered one thing that Argosy really had going for it 
One picture says it all. I actually opened the window and had the wind blow in my face! Outstanding is all I can say….. I had it in my head to do that very thing in my GMC. Please, you gotta understand sometimes I dream in colors when it comes to a GMC motorhome…. I think through so many hair brained ideas…. it occupies my mind at night. Most of them like a Hybrid coach or the 5th wheel rig are grandious … things that are mechanically possible but economically un reachable with what we can do. Sometimes though they are small, things I’ve heard other people discuss and say would be cool. I’m not taking credit for this one because quite frankly this one has been lusted over since I’ve been messing with these things.
See this is one of the awesome things about this business, I can be involved with issues by this time of understanding this coach that can really step up progress if I could have just a little push. I mentioned this idea to Jim K. a year ago and since then he has been a dog at my heals to push the project. Well if you know Jim K. if anything he is persistent and I love him for that. See He’s actually trying to run a viable business me, I gave that up a long time ago… Since leaving Consumer Electronics Sales in the middle 80’s I’ve never grossed half the income I made back then at Panasonic so if I were thinking this would be my path to success brother I’m tiptoeing through the tulips…
How did I get into all that…. I know, I had held off my moring bike ride enough to post this because oh how excited I was on the driver slider window….. sitting here I started dreaming back about how much happier I am than I was in those days…. it really sucked having to wheel and deal, dicker on percentages and worry that you didn’t piss off someone you didn;t know….. Popppp and I’m back being sidetracked by the hit that one of the pesky problems every GMC owner , except Squeeky Lavee, is that *^&%^%$# bullshit driver window!
I mean GM is a big company with some really smart people, can you emagine being a fly on the wall in the meeting where this estounded engineer… yes estounded… engineer tries to concinve some VP that this was the best they could do? And what’s crazier is he did it! Honestly it doesn’t come close to following the lines of the coach…. look at it…. that’s not right and hey, if the window had been a little bigger they might have butchered up that GMC window when they made that Bush’s Baked Beans commercial! Seeing that commercial made a flat spot on the back of the head where somebody wacked me with a ballbat..
So yeah, to me this is a big deal and I most give credit to Jim K with prodding me to pull out another drawing from my skunk works show out back and do one… thanks man.. Once again… lets see some more of that beautiful bean footage
OK, so we hope to fit this frame into a coach this week.. we are hammering hard right now on David’s Chauncey right now 
so bear with us please… we’re at a good point to not kill us to fit it into Ron K. “MoHo” 23′ original with a twist project 
David, I sure would like to put one of the prototypes in your coach… So yeah, this is going to be an exciting week for sure!
Got off track again… I’m trying to belt this out to get back to my morning bike ride thats quickly turning into brunch…. so there it is, after the fitting will be the glass manufacture because hooo buddy, this will be some custom glass… hey Jim.. ole buddy ole pal… lets talk…
Hey and if you were witness to that stupid suaree on Facebook yesterday I’m sorry but as a card carrying southern red neck who remembers where I was when I got the word that Lynard Skinners’s plane had crashed… I also will not back down,,,.. it was all taken down and well it should have been Billy, thank you. BTW, if you have started to venture into Facebook… listen I too was one of those guys who didn;t want may carbon footprint on a mouthpiece of the man… you really need to hang around on Billy Massey’s “Classic GMC Motorhome Facebook site. No bull crap, only people interested in the hobby in the enthusiast community and not in it for all that other stuff. I tell ya man, it’s a breath of freash air. Actually I like the smell of big block exhaust and that’s part of being in this but hey… we thrive when we can get food and water for our soul. Well, there’s a wet spot there and I’ll tell you this.. I mean if I really want to get off on a tangent… was on a week section of the AT with my sons, it had been really dry and hot, not only the hikers but critters day was consumed out there looking for water and shade. So on the map… when you read “slight assent” on the aspproved AT trail society map… be afraid but anyway the map said there was a spring some 7 miles, we were averaging 5 a day, the kids were a little young but wanted to prove themselves so we went for it and would push to the shelter and water. Once I looked up at one of my sons and his buddy and steam was coming off their shoulders! It was a slight assent all the way. So this shelter was actually in hearing distance to the BlueRidge Parkway and when we got there it was late and we could hear cars off in the nearby valley. He dopped our packs, pulled out our tripod seats and pressured down then my son Ray went off to find the water just down the hill, I had not had the energy to even look longing for that &^%$# crappy little seat to rest my legs. Ray came bacvk up the hill yelling come see this. So I got up, walked toward the deep crevice that the stream was to be residing in as of “the map” and there was a wet spot in a hollow in the the dry streambed. Hey we had a pump and tablets.. we were prepared… Be Prepared ” right…. the problem was there was a box turtle camped out in the middle of that wet spot that was just barley bigger than he was!
Hey, you can’t make this up!
So the decision was, could there be enough filter in that pump to stop slippery turtle poop, are there enough iodine tablets made to make any part of THAT water safe to drink!!! I mean I need a chemist to answer that one!
Just then my super observant son John… BTU who now teaches at Embry-Riddle … said, I think I saw some water in a tire rut about a mile back…. ARE YOU SURE I calmly asked…. Yes, I stepped in it, I remember so back went the packs and I agreed to carry the cast iron skillet. We went back up the trail… I thought it was up hill the other way, well it felt like it…. we made it back and shure as I was whooped there was 1 truck tire rut deep enought to have water in it… just 1 but brother THAT was the sweetest water I had ever tasted.. we camped next to that ture rut that night….
And bothers and isters THAT is how I feel about Billy Massey’s Facebook page!

I like bill massey but he banned me from the face book page for saying jesus was most likely black, he was born in africa for christ sake, then i was banned from the gmcnet for saying miguel screwed me big time but if you say the truth that cost the crook money then you get kicked off. At least others know to watch out, i think you have great integrity even if you kick me off as well, but miguel, and billy being a bully for narrow mindedness. Looks like i have to be proud to be in the dog house, at least others will watch miguel like a hawk and billy can sell all his stuff on his face book page that he bought from megan. Why the brain police, hot rats, you have to be to conservative to ban me for i am the center of what you are trying to communicate with. When you first get to know this group it seems great then you see a pecking line then you get in trouble if you say anything about the big boys trying to make a living on the gmc. THen they try and defend miguel even if he screwed you, and that was wrong, so the private club to make a living is more important than warning others of weak spots in the force. Billy is a bully if you cause him to think he may not get the money from his sales. I stated i was sorry once but when miguel almost burnt my coach to the ground with leaving the onan gas line loose and spraying all over my muffler. it almost exploded. I said i was sorry i was up set the he sold me airbags that punctured holes in the filler tubes he made and cost me 1100 dollars to put on with him, then billy said one more chance if you say your sorry, i said that was on one time i was upset on the gmcnet, then when 6 months later i try to start my onan and find that miguel whostated he refreshed the oil and tuned up the onan, i found the gas line leaking like a shower all over the muffler and about to burn my great gmc down. I stated it again and billy said i warned you and kicked me off not more chances. Who would not try and warn others if this happened to them. So now everyone enjoys having mickey kicked off the site he was mean and nasty to miguel. Well i found many others that miguel was given rip off as well. But billy the bully does not care about the newbie that got screwed he cares about the inside money making club of protecting the crook not the newbie. I throw my shoulder to the stone on this boys. JimB your are the greatest out there with manny and JimK is pretty good for what he is. But to let others fall to the side to protect those that screw others is wrong and for that i am proud to be kicked off., I would like to sell stuff on the gmcnet and other things but i know billy is brute once he has his head screwed on to protect the money stream. Mr Minnie, jImB, Manny your guys are the center of this club of gmc’s in the west. But you should corner miguel and say stop getting good people kicked off the net for bitching about you screwing them. I love all of you but you are a bunch of assholes some times.
