A story of the delivery of this classic renovation
Today was one of those days to remember, delivery day for Col. Patrick and the 75 Argosy. You see, until he came to pick it up, I could fantisize it was mine!
When they arrived today, the coach was locked away inside. I had them close
their eyes and step inside to first see the interior. Think about it, the first look
you always have of any vehicle is of the exterior first, I wanted them to be impressed
first with the interior! 
The galley turned out clean and orderly. 
The 2 way frig was cold and the walls were cleaned and polished. 
The curtains were closed and the pillows were fluffed. Should I fold
out the bedroom table 
or should I leave it in 
, man that thing is guge folded out, I'd better leave it in. 
Man, its nice back here! 
I hate
to see it go, but its time.
Next on deck for take off, Col. Patrick switches on the magnetos, we spool
up the props and we're ready for flight 
He clears the gate and she's off the ground and taking to the road like it had never left 
Thanks Mr. Patrick for letting me work on such a unique classic coach, it was a
blast. OK, who's next?
This is the weekend for the Argosy! What do I mean by that? This is the weekend that I drive the coach out, try all the buttons, make any punch list that may need something and polish her up to go home. Its kinda like checking with admissions before the bring you out to the car going home from the hospital, if you know what I mean.
The dinette table is built 
, guidelines were a table for 2 with plenty of lap room that matches the
interior (original colors) and the new taupe upholstery. Since the dinette seats are
cut down GMC seating, the table is supported much the same as on a GMC, the leg is a
hollow 3 sided affair that of course folds in to allow the table to stow away
convienantly. First you must see the great little single bed the new cut down
dinette seats make 
.
The arms can be easily taken off. Then the bed can be put away to create a 2
person dinette that is comfortable, stylish and convienant 
. Mrs. Patrick was concerned about lap room so I removed the stops on
the wall bracket which allows the table to shift off center allowing more room on one
side. Folded up, the table will drop to the floor while the bed function is in use
along with the seat arms. This is the last major component we've been waiting for to
call the Argosy a done deal. Now its clean up and tighten up. Watch for me on
the road this weekend, I can't wait for the shakedown!
