And the 2 are now 1

Here is the good, the bad and the ugly of playing mad scientist taking a brain from "Abby Normal" and the body from "Igore" and what do ya get?

And so it begins  All of our discovery, modifications and experiences have brought us to this point-- the actual body of the project is on the lift and ready for it's teardown, modification and mounting onto the Workhorse/ Duramax chassis.    Through the discovery and understanding we now posess, we are ready to put this retro road rocket together and if the weather cooperates, big things should happen pretty soon.

There has been much interest in the outcome of this and in preparing for this we have documented and prepared to build more of these machine so if you have interest in having a monster like this for yourself, give me a call and get on the already started production list.  Hang with us and watch the beginning of a new thing.  You betcha I'll have my camera with me!

Cap-Com, we have lift-off-- the body has left the ground then the old chassis is pulled out and is clear of the tower   now Jesse mans the cockpit of the Duramax and guides his steed toward the lift and the waiting body.  The brakes are funky with all 4 rear wheels skidding along with no weight on them but carfully he makes his way toward the waiting body suspended above the lift platform   -- and then it's in   The new frame is under the 76 GMC and we're ready for our next phase.  Before pulling the frame under we installed the new 4 air bag (quadrabag) rear suspension kit onto the original styled but all new rebuilt bogy rear suspension.  This chassis is specified to lift it's intended 22,000 lb. load up to ride height in 7 seconds-- wonder if we'll need everyone in seat belts before we hit the switch to lift the new projected what 13,000 lb GMC body?  There may be internal body damage to passengers-- hey, we need to think through that one!  So here we are, the frame and body are close to being one and with the old chassis resting next door the mating of the 2 pieces is next.

The eagle has landed-- here is the new creature, more to come
